PROCESSES

Cleaning
IMS has the best maintained and monitored five-stage iron phosphate washer in the industry – we prep difficult parts. Clean etched parts mean excellent adhesion. We routinely perform cross-hatch tape tests and single scribe salt spray tests to verify adhesion.

Paint Removal
IMS strips paint utilizing a bake-off oven or a chemical process. Media blasting is available.

Powder Coating
Some of the Powder coating materials used at IMS include, but are not limited to:

Polyester TGIC

Urethane

Hybrid Powder

Batch Capabilities
IMS Batch Capabilities/maximum part size: 7' wide X 24' long and 1,200 lbs.
